Christmas

Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, and it is regarded as an annual holiday for many. In most places, Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December. Christmas Eve is the night before Christmas day and that is when the excitement really starts. This day is celebrated by family and friends coming together and exchanging greetings, gifts and cards. A few days before Christmas (supposed to be eight days) a Christmas tree is put up in the house and is then decorated with all sorts of different colorful decorations. The gifts that have been bought for one another will be put under the tree and only opened on the 25th of December.
