Santa Claus as a Christmas tradition id undoubtedly the most famous of Christmas traditions. Children hang their stockings for dear Santa to put in his gifts. Santa, as tradition says, comes down the chimneys and drops the presents in the stockings. It is actually the parents of the children who drop in presents for the kids. However the kids find the idea of dear Santa dropping the presents quite good and this is what has led to the tradition of Santa Claus to be a part of the Christmas folklore of many a country.
