Who Gave The Idea Of Christmas Stocking?
The tradition is to hang the Christmas stockings out at night; from there Santa Clause puts gifts in them but where did this tradition derived? Some say it started with children hanging their socks out to dry over the fire on Christmas night but others say it started in Holland during the 16th century. This is where the kids would actually leave their shoes that were filled with hay somewhere around the fireplace so that Santa's reindeer could eat out of it. Eventually people started using Stockings instead.

In today's rapidly globalized world, some poets often borrow other styles and techniques and different forms from the diverse cultures including different languages.
